These applications is handled by the National Licencing Authority in Gaborone.

The following information will be required for application for an industrial or manufacturing license:

I. Particulars of Applicant:

~ Name of the Company ~ Registration Number

~ Name's of Shareholder, Nationality, No. of Shares held by each ~ Directors Name, Nationality and Designation

~ Company Secretaries (If not Dalene Maree Business Services, give details of phone and address) ~ Associate companies if any, their names and address

2. Trade name (if other than a company name provide registration certificate)

3. Location of the manufacturing establishment (Plot No) Ensure that all manufacturing operations are located in the industrial area, in line with the National Policy on Incomes, Employment, Prices and Profits. (A legal document should be provided as evidence

 4. Provide lease agreement between the Lessor and the Lessee/letter from the landlord showing his/her intention to lease out the plot;

 5. Products to be manufactured or imported (give production quantity of each product)

6. Production capacity per shift (give production quantity of each product)

 7. Employment per shift

•  Existing no. of citizen and non citizen
  

• Managers/supervisors, skilled staff, unskilled staff and others

14. Copies of Certificate of incorporation and the companies register of directors and secretaries (Applicable only if Dalene Maree  is not the secretaries)

~ Has the directors' been convicted of criminal offence or been declared bankrupt

~ Has premises been acquired for manufacturing operation ~ has manufacturing operations already started

~ If a new operation, when would the manufacturing start.

18. Provide a detailed description of the production process to indicate how each product will be produced,

• answer all other concerns as listed on that single sheet intended to address the environmental issues
  
• . Then provide an Environmental Impact Assessment Report/ Statement, the guidance of which can be obtained from Executive Secretary-National Conservation Strategy Agency in the Ministry of Lands, Housing & Environment.

19. Work and residence permits should be submitted for foreign shareholders/directors or Managing Directors together with the application forms.
